Avionics Repair AdministratorA Aerospace & Avionics company in NY is looking for a Repair Administrator to interview and start work ASAP!
Pay Rate - Based on Experience
The main purpose of this position will be to outsource repairs and manage/track parts logistics for repairs for a specific customers. This would only be for repairs on parts that they don't have the capabilities to perform in-house. that will include the following:
A) Working with service providers (other certificated Repair Stations FAA +/or EASA approved). B) Work with QA to verify the vendor status and help obtain any need documentation for the servicing vendor file. C) Working with our sales representatives to coordinate customer needs & requirements. D) Working with our customer service personnel to generate quotes, Component Reports, invoice. E) Working with the appropriate sales representative providing component service status (i.e. estimate delivery, costs, concerns, etc). F) Report to the Chief Inspector and the Operations Manager.
Willing to conduct and / or arrange for all outsourced customer repairs.
Willing to receive in doctrine training and any other training as needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
People & communication skills are a must have. (Must work well with others.)
Must understand, read, and write English fluently.
Employment history in the aviation field is optional but preferred, including the following:
Working knowledge of FAR-145, EASA MIP-G, and familiarization with other Federal Regulations (AD notes, Advisory Circulars, Regulatory Specifications).
FAA Aircraft and Powerplant License, Inspection Authorization, and / or repairman certificate. Additional Job Info:
requirements/qualifications: 1. This is mostly administrative and they will be managing mostly repairs logistics and documentation. They don't necessarily need aviation experience, but the more familiar with FAA repair work the better. 2. Willing to conduct and / or arrange for all outsourced customer repairs. 3. Willing to receive in doctrine training and any other training as needed to accomplish assigned tasks. 4. People & communication skills are a must have. (Must work well with others.) 5. Must understand, read, and write English fluently. 6. No FAA violations & must submit to pre-employment and random DOT Anti-Drug & AMPP testing and meet the requirements of the program. 7. Employment history in the aviation field is optional but preferred, including the following: Working knowledge of FAR-145, EASA MIP-G, and familiarization with other Federal Regulations (AD notes, Advisory Circulars, Regulatory Specifications). 8. FAA Aircraft and Powerplant License, Inspection Authorization, and / or repairman certificate. if this person demonstrates ability to work in other areas of the company or the work from this specific customer picks up there may be an opportunity to move into a full time position. that would be more likely if they have instrument repair capabilities.
